Back to Hogwarts: 20th Anniversary Live Stream Event

All aboard! The Hogwarts Express was making its annual departure from Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, and this year held extra significance as it marked the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone‘s cinematic debut. Wizarding World aimed to mark this special “Back to Hogwarts” event and two decades of movie magic with a global fan celebration.

Our team was thrilled to partner with Wizarding World to produce this significant live-stream event. Our responsibilities encompassed all aspects of the live production, including filming at key locations and capturing exclusive interviews with cast and prominent figures within the Harry Potter fan community.

A crucial element of our work involved filming on location at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. We captured the enchanting details of the Hogwarts Express and the iconic Platform Nine and Three-Quarters set, providing viewers with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the magic.

We also had the privilege of filming interviews with beloved cast members, such as Tom Felton, who famously played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series. Additionally, we connected with influential creators within the fan community, Chanel Williams and Cherry Wallis, to explore the internet trends that have emerged in celebration of the films.

The live-stream also incorporated the highly anticipated 11 AM moment, the symbolic time when the Hogwarts Express departs King’s Cross Station in London. Our production seamlessly integrated this live element, allowing fans around the world to feel part of this special tradition in real-time.

Our goal was to deliver a dynamic and engaging live-stream that resonated with the global Harry Potter fanbase, capturing the nostalgia and excitement of this 20th-anniversary milestone.
