Capital FM x Barclaycard: Anne Marie OOH Web AR Experience

We were thrilled to collaborate with Visualise and Global Media Group to contribute to the UK’s first large-scale WebAR Out-of-Home (OOH) experience. This groundbreaking campaign, which completely transformed London Waterloo Station, promoted Capital FM’s inaugural series of intimate summer concerts in partnership with Barclaycard.

Our key contribution to this innovative project was the creation of the web-optimized 3D assets that powered the immersive Web AR experience. At the heart of this experience was a captivating 3D volumetric performance by the talented singer-songwriter Anne-Marie, captured with cutting-edge technology at Dimension Studios

In addition to the central Anne-Marie performance, we also developed and optimized other integral 3D elements for the Web AR experience, such as the dynamic shattered glass effect. These elements were carefully crafted to integrate seamlessly with the volumetric capture, creating the impactful illusion of Anne-Marie breaking free from the physical billboard.

The successful integration of our web-optimized 3D assets was instrumental in delivering a truly immersive and unforgettable experience for the thousands of commuters and visitors passing through London Waterloo Station. This project showcased the power of WebAR and high-quality, efficiently delivered 3D content in creating impactful and engaging out-of-home advertising. Our expertise in 3D asset creation and web optimization played a vital role in bringing this pioneering campaign to life.
